I love photography because it allows you to pause a fleeting moment and freeze it in time. The months and years go by so quickly – you forget the outfits your child was in 3 months ago, the favorite toys they couldn’t put down, the way their head fit into the crook of your elbow. Those things can be captured in a photograph and you can have them forever.
I am a natural light photographer who specializes in shooting families, children, and newborns. I like to capture families in their natural environments where they’re most comfortable, whether that’s their home, favorite park or other meaningful place. Through candids and portraits, my goal is to capture the sweet authentic moments that reflect the intimacy of family and joy of childhood.
To see more about why I love shooting families see my blog series here -> parts one, two, three, four, and five.
I live in Hudson Heights with my husband and our three kids. Beyond photography I’ve been teaching music to children and families and singing jazz as long as I can remember. A Pennsylvanian by birth and a New Yorker in my heart, I love this city and the people that make it what it is. I hope to get to know you and your family.
